DIESEL ENGINE TECHNICIAN
AEI is seeking
an intelligent, responsible, hands-on capable technician for a
position with primary responsibilities as an engine mechanic
and test cell operator. Ideal candidate has a good practical
understanding of engines, and the ability to work on engines
and supporting systems. The ability to work with computers is
also important. This environment is fast-paced, and the
desire to deal with high expectations and a wide variety of
job responsibilities is required.
We are willing
to train a person with limited engine experience, if candidate
has a strong work ethic and can demonstrate good mechanical
aptitude in a pre-employment test.

Computer Programmer
Due to the substantial growth that we have experienced over the
last few years, we are seeking outstanding programmers.
Our work is focused around diesel engine testing, both as a
service and the products related to it. Therefore,
familiarity with engines and engine testing is a useful
knowledge base for the computer programming work, however not
a requirement.
We currently have an opening for a programmer in the testing
area of our business. Most of the work is in Labview, C++, and
Ruby. We do both Linux and Windows development, although we
lean much closer to the Linux side.
An additional position is open for a programmer in the
products area of our business. We are seeking an experienced
programmer to fill this position. The applicant must have good
analytical skills/experience and be an aggressive programmer.
The applicant must be self motivated and have significant
experience with hardware interfacing using Microsoft Visual
Basic programming and C/C++ in the Windows operating system.
Multiprocess, threading and database programming experience is
also needed. API function knowledge is a plus. Knowledge and
experience with 4 stroke combustion engines is a significant
plus for this position.

PHD CHEMIST
AEI is seeking
a PhD Chemist. This is a hands-on position
responsible for coordinating, conducting, and reporting on
engine exhaust aftertreatment and catalysis projects. Work
will be conducted in the laboratory, on-engine, and
on-vehicle. A strong understanding of mechanical systems and
experience at proposal writing is preferred.
