Electrical
Engineering, Controls and Software
Electrical engineering is an
integral part of all AEI testing and product development
activities. Engineers design and build circuit board
systems using both digital and analog electronics and make
frequent use of computer control for many
projects.
Expertise at AEI spreads across all facets of
computer control from hardware to software. When
off-the-shelf components do not provide the necessary
performance needed, AEI's electrical engineers design and
build interfacing hardware which include DSP based and PIC
based microcontrollers, power switching devices, amplifiers,
etc.
AEI has in-house engineering
resources and access to outside resources to quickly respond
to any electronics requirement. The typical design
process includes electronics simulation, breadboard
prototyping, circuit board design
layout and production quality printed circuit board
assemblies.
AEI engineers have the hardware
design and software programming capability to incorporate high
performance computer controls & monitoring, custom built
microprocessors, analog and digital subsystems, etc. into any
systems design to meet customer requirements.
