Applications for Individual Grants from the AEI Youth Sports Fund are now being accepted at the Heritage Fund via the link below!

Organizations:
Non-profit organizations can apply for funding beginning January 1.
Deadline for organization application will be February 28.
Grant awards announced in March.
Suggested grant amounts for organizations will range up to a maximum of $5,000 per organization.

A separate application process will be held for individuals in summer 2021.

This fund was established by Analytical Engineering, Inc. in August 2019 and is administered by the Heritage Fund. During the first year, the AEI Youth Sports Fund helped over 300 youth, enabling them to participate in a wide range of sports and outdoor activities, including hockey, volleyball, baseball, basketball, football,gymnastics, lacrosse, swimming, wrestling, soccer, running, and various other sports. A total of $32,050 was distributed to organizations and individuals during the first year.

To date, the organizations that have received funding are: Advocates for Children, Bartholomew County Bears, Bartholomew County Juvenile Court System, Columbus Express Soccer Club, Columbus Lacrosse Club, Columbus North Gymnastics, Columbus Youth Hockey, Foundation For Youth, PAAL, Purpose to Play, Spring Hill Summer Camp, Youth Baseball Bartholomew County.

If you or someone you know could benefit by receiving financial assistance for youth to participate in athletic or fitness activities, please encourage them to apply! This is open to organizations and individual children ages 18 and under from Bartholomew and all surrounding counties.
