At AEI, we believe that the passion we bring to our work is reflected in our connection to nature and the environment. Beyond our technical innovations, we are proud to cultivate a variety of outdoor hobbies that not only enrich our surroundings but also contribute to sustainability and community engagement.
Bee Farm
Our bee farm, home to over 30 thriving hives, is a cornerstone of our outdoor endeavors. These industrious pollinators play a crucial role in maintaining the health of our local ecosystem. The honey produced is not only a testament to the hard work of our bees but also a sweet reminder of the importance of preserving natural habitats. Our employees actively manage and care for our bees, ensuring they have the resources they need to flourish.

Sunflower Field
Each year, we plant a vast sunflower field that brightens our landscape with its vibrant blooms. This field not only adds beauty to our surroundings but also serves as an important habitat for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. The sunflowers are a symbol of growth and renewal, reflecting our commitment to environmental stewardship.

Orchard
Our orchard is a diverse and bountiful space, with over 200 trees bearing a variety of fruits. We grow apples, cherries, pears, peaches, and plums, offering a seasonal bounty that is enjoyed by our team and local wildlife alike.

Vegetable Garden
Our vegetable garden is planted annually and is a space where we grow a variety of fresh produce. From tomatoes and peppers to lettuce and carrots, our garden is a source of pride and a demonstration of our commitment to healthy living. The produce from our garden is used in our kitchens and shared with our team, reinforcing the connection between the land and our daily lives.
We also cultivate blackberry bushes that produce delicious berries each season. These bushes are a favorite among our staff and a source of fresh, locally-grown produce. The blackberries are often shared within our community in forms of breakfasts or desserts.
At AEI, these outdoor hobbies are more than just a pastime; they are an integral part of our identity. They reflect our respect for nature, our dedication to sustainability, and our belief in the importance of giving back to the community. We take pride in nurturing these spaces and look forward to continuing our work both in the facilities and in the great outdoors.
